My Bonn Diaries - Introduction

There are no gated housing societies, only detached houses, semi – detached houses, bungalows or buildings. The climate is cold. The highest temperature is 28 degrees Celsius (in the house). The days of sun are really pleasant. I love to play in the park when it is pleasant. The place is clean and beautiful. There is a huge park in front of our house. We can go there to play, walk, and picnic and have lots of fun. The people over here prefer to ride bicycles, skates and skateboards instead of private cars and taking taxis. Here the houses are beautifully made and the gardens beautifully made too. They both are well maintained by the owners themselves. I have noticed that the gardens are made slanting. The balconies are well occupied and well maintained. They look beautiful. I don’t know why, maybe so the water given can be received by all the plants. There is 1 more custom I did not like and that is that they have only 1 bathroom with the commode there itself and the washbasin there too. It is a huge problem. If someone is taking a bath and a person has to go to the bathroom then where will he go? I disliked this. I don’t know anything more right now but will write when I get to know.
