Culture is a sculpture,

It sculpts our society,

Without this sculpture,

We might not have variety.

Independence is truly incomplete,

The wise pandit Upadhyay said,

For if it is not full and replete

With the colourful cultural thread.

Culture gives us diversity,

We are all diverse,

We should live with unity,

In God’s universe.

If people from different cultures unite,

There might not be any inter-cultural fight.

We all should put the colourful beads of culture together,

And make a beautiful necklace to increase India’s pride.

What pandit Upadhyay said means to me,

That the expression of culture is to be,

For it will help us have an open-mind,

And no one will be left mind-blind
