This poem was written by me for a school activity in 9th grade. The poem is not directly about yellow but it reflects the moods represented by yellow.
He was a rich man,
The name was Mr. Hime.
He used to eat in silver pans,
His pocket full of dollars and dimes.
He did a lot of charity,
He was very smart.
There was no beat to his popularity,
He had a kind heart.
Then, he had to hire bodyguards
Because he was so afraid,
And afraid of being betrayed
By those who thought they were underpaid.
Then, he fell very sick,
Poisoned I think he was.
They say he had a nasty prick,
Who knows, if needle was the cause.
He was a very kind man,
The name was Mr. Hime,
His house had a shiny glow
And he left behind all his dollars and dimes.
